A glass of Ocean
ある時、私はグラスの水を飲みながら、考え事をしていた。
ふとした瞬間に手に持っていたグラスの中の水が揺れ、その揺れがいつしか私の中で海の波に見えはじめ、私はその世界に吸い込まれた。この作品は、グラスの中に水が入っており、その水はある仕掛けによって常に波立っている。展示会場はグラスの中の水の波音がいつまでも響きわたった。
これは「手中のコップの中で波立つ水”から“広大な荒くれる海」へイメージ変換した自分自身の体験記である。

I was thinking something while I was drinking some water. When the water
in a glass shook, it appeared to me as waves in the sea and took me into
a fantasy. This work was a glass of water, in which the water kept waving
by some device. The gallery was full of wave sounds from the glass.
It was embodiment of my experience by transforming the image of “ripping water in a glass” to “the waves in the vast furious sea”.
